Trailer - "DUEL X"

Our gritty, popular series "DUEL" continues with this tenth fantastic installment, and this one stars awesome Malika Ioana and tough girl Medusa Lee.

This clip features the usual elements you've all come to expect from this series: no story setup or dialogue, and no background music - just great, fast-paced, back and forth combat action between two of our best.

Great performances by both Girlz here, with lots of hard-hitting action and great combat choreography and stuntwork. And best of all,

Starring Malika Ioana and Medusa Lee.

This is the latest mini-movie in the excellent "DUEL" series and Malika and Medusa fight it out at great speed in this very realistic confrontation between the two of them.  It's a hard-hitting battle with both of the Girlz using various tactics to try and wear down their opponent.  This is really a fight of attrition as Malika and Medusa both try to grind each other down.  The devastating swinging punches from both of the Girlz are superb with dozens of them in this production.  Great acting from the Girlz and excellent camera-work, as usual!

This is another total action video in the series.  Presumably when it names director John Connor as writer (he commonly combines both roles and I believe does an unseen speaking part now and then) here it could mean that he has written out choreography guidelines only, for there is no dialog.  I opted for the "Medusa wins" ending because for some reason I enjoy watching Malika taking the beating (much as I used to with certain others in the past).  This has nothing to do with dislike; quite the opposite.  It's about the way certain girls suffer so prettily when losing, and Malika is supreme at getting our sympathy in that respect.  On the face of it, it's agile Malika versus the powerful Medusa, but there are occasional switch-arounds.  For example, Malika expertly does a roll over the table of course and Medusa crushes her in a tremendous bearhug (not forgetting a throatlift too).  To my astonishment Malika retaliates with a terrifically sustained bearhug of clearly equal strength back, before (in my chosen version) inevitable defeat.  Carmen Porta is presumably responsible for inserting those thrillingly wince-inducing rib-cracking sounds as well as practically all of the all-important other impact effects.  She should know all about that from experience!
