How "innocent and adorable" she seems to be when making those statements (without a trace of anger on her face and in her voice).

This picks up from the first
episode in the series of the incongruity of a pintsize female detective
(Lee Diamond) determined to bring in strongly built lawbreakers (in this case
Stevie Fox, looking particularly attractive here).
Even with Lee's weaponry arsenal, worthy of a small army and lacking only a crossbow it seems, scattering to the floor (like as if Bugs Bunny: where does she stash it all?) and blow after blow knocks her down, the feisty 'tec ain't giving up.
You can almost feel Stevie's strength as she wraps her fingers around the writhing
Lee's helpless throat, lifting her like a sack and whirling her round for a sleeperhold, which is sexy on its own count.
This is super stuff made additionally special by the hilarious script, with its to and fro putdowns during this long bout of wills, leading to a short sharp conclusion.
