Another FG2K video is released; it now starts to feels like a return to how things were.  I bought the video and just finished watching it.  Lola proves, again, she is a great new FightGirl.  The fight is a very even handed, allowing to show the two girls at both being the one throwing punches and receiving them.  I wish that Element had her hair loose, as i love to see long girls' hair flowing about in a girlfight.  I enjoyed the video and i hope this is merely a small example of much more to come.  Cannot get enough of FG2K.

This does look like a proper return after the hiatus.  Regular Brian Socia directs this video with John Connor lending his experience on the way.  This is a nice one about a falling-out between roommates with quirky and funny moments.  What starts off as some playful sparring builds into animosity and leads to a back and forth bare knuckle contretemps indoors, outdoors and back indoors again.  I was rather hoping that one or both would end up in the swimming pool!  I think the girls, both new, have pretty basic fight tecnique, though I'm sure that they will develop as other FightGirlz have done in the past.  The final payoff is unexpected.  A promising portent for how the trend is going, bringing in some re-jigged casting possibly and which may win new fans (though we have not seen doughty favourites such as Carmen Porta etc. lately I hopefully assume we'll still see something of them yet).  Meantime, FG2K shows that instead of letting grass grow under its feet it's also able to reinvent itself.
